Harold Williford

Mr. Williford has extensive experience representing corporations and high-net-worth individuals in federal and state court litigation.

Prior to joining RFB + Fisher Potter Hodas LLP in 2024, Mr. Williford was a litigation associate in the New York office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where his practice encompassed bankruptcy, healthcare, consumer protection, securities, and white-collar matters. Mr. Williford’s practice has included representing directors and other individual defendants in high-stakes lawsuits as well as complex litigation involving private wealth management structures and domestic and foreign trusts. Mr. Williford has participated in litigation at all levels of the federal judicial system and in numerous state courts.

Mr. Williford is admitted to practice in New York and is admitted to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude from New York University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Northwestern University. After graduating from law school, Mr. Williford was a litigation associate in the New York office of White & Case LLP, where he focused on bankruptcy and international litigation and arbitration. He served as a law clerk to the Hon. Nancy F. Atlas in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas from September 2015 to September 2016.
