Lawrence J. Hamilton II is an experienced trial lawyer. Larry is admitted to practice in Florida as well as all of its federal courts and has been admitted in numerous other jurisdictions to litigate cases. He previously spent over 30 years as a partner at Holland & Knight, where he served as a Litigation Practice Group Leader and on its Board of Directors. He has successfully handled a wide variety of large and complex commercial lawsuits and arbitrations, including international disputes. Larry’s experience includes marital dissolution and family law disputes, complex trust and estate disputes, disputes involving prenuptial agreements, partnership and shareholder litigation, corporate governance and valuation disputes, class actions, and bet-the-company lawsuits.
He is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell and has been received numerous recognitions and awards, including inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America guide in the areas of Commercial Litigation; Real Estate Litigation; and Banking and Finance Litigation. Larry has served in numerous Bar organizations, including as the President of the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar, on The Florida Bar Board of Governors, and on the Executive Council of the Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar. He also served as the Secretary/Treasurer and as a Master of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court and received certification as a mediator by the Florida Supreme Court.
